2. Description of Service & Local Execution
ACamTest.com provides a free, client-side browser utility for testing and inspecting hardware inputs, including webcams, integrated laptop sensors, and microphones.
You acknowledge that all video rendering, FPS calculation, canvas processing, and audio analysis are performed locally inside your device’s browser via standard WebRTC and Web Audio APIs. ACamTest.com does not record, intercept, transmit, or store any camera feeds or microphone audio streams on external servers.
3. Trademark & Third-Party Disclaimer
All product names, brand logos, trademarks, and registered trademarks cited on this site (including but not limited to Logitech, Apple, MacBook, FaceTime, Razer, Elgato, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams) are property of their respective owners.
The citation and reference of these hardware brands on ACamTest.com are strictly for diagnostic, educational, and interoperability purposes. ACamTest.com is an independent diagnostic software project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the aforementioned hardware manufacturers or software platforms.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The materials and diagnostic tests on ACamTest.com are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
While our testing suite uses standard browser specifications to query camera drivers, exact frame rates and sensor resolutions may vary based on operating system permissions, USB bus throttling, ambient room illumination, and hardware drivers. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with obsolete or proprietary hardware.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ACamTest.com, its maintainers, or operators be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the diagnostic tools on ACamTest.com.
