At ACamTest.com ("we", "our", or "us"), we believe your camera and microphone are private hardware interfaces. We have architected our testing suite with a strict zero-knowledge, zero-storage foundation:

• Zero Video Transmission: Your webcam video stream is processed exclusively in your device's local volatile memory (RAM) via standard browser HTML5/WebRTC APIs (getUserMedia).
• Zero Recording or Server Storage: Your video frames and audio signals are never recorded, uploaded, saved, or routed to any remote server or third party.
• Direct Browser Execution: All diagnostics (real-time FPS calculation, resolution detection, lighting score analysis, and microphone decibel metering) occur purely inside your own browser session.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on ACamTest.com to support the free operation of this service. In compliance with Google Publisher Policies, we disclose the following:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Google Ads Settings.
• Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting AboutAds.info or Your Online Choices (for European users).

3. Camera & Microphone Permissions

When you click "Start Webcam Test", your browser displays an explicit prompt asking for permission to access your camera and microphone:

• Revocable Anytime: You can revoke camera or microphone permissions at any moment by clicking the lock or tune icon in your browser's address bar.
• Audio Loopback Playback: The "Hear Yourself" feature temporarily records up to 5 seconds of audio to a local in-memory Blob URL for immediate playback through your speakers, which is automatically revoked and cleared from memory upon playback completion.
• Snapshots: Photo snapshots taken with the tool are rendered entirely onto an HTML5 canvas and downloaded directly to your local file system. They are never uploaded anywhere.

4. Network Server Logs & Cloudflare CDN

ACamTest.com is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web servers, Cloudflare edge servers automatically record standard, non-personally identifiable technical access logs when you request web pages:

• IP addresses (anonymized for DDoS mitigation and edge routing)
• Browser type and version (User-Agent)
• Date and timestamp of page requests
• HTTP response status and byte sizes

These operational logs are used strictly for security monitoring, DDoS prevention, and global edge cache optimization.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Because we do not collect, register, or store personal user accounts, names, emails, camera feeds, or audio recordings, we do not retain identifiable personal databases. However, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• You have the right to refuse cookie tracking via browser settings or our Consent Management Platform (CMP).
• We do not sell, rent, or trade any user information.
• We strictly respect children's privacy under COPPA; our website does not target or knowingly collect data from children under 13.
