1. Make sure you clicked Allow in your browser when it asked for permission.
2. Check if another app like Zoom, Skype, or Teams is currently using your camera. Close those apps first.
3. On laptops, check if your camera has a physical plastic privacy slider or switch that covers the lens.
Can anyone else see my camera or video? Show Answer +

How do I test if my microphone hears me? Show Answer +
Start the test, then speak out loud. Watch the green Mic Sound Level bar at the bottom of the video. If the bar bounces as you talk, your microphone is working! You can also click Hear My Voice to record 5 seconds of sound and listen to it right away.
Why is my video slow or choppy? Show Answer +

Why You Should Test Before Your Call

How the Video Speed (FPS) Check Works

Video speed is measured in FPS (Frames Per Second). 30 FPS means your camera takes 30 photos every second, making your movement look natural and smooth. If your FPS drops below 20, movement looks jittery and laggy. Good lighting fixes this almost every time.

Testing Your Microphone Sound
